This Privacy Policy describes J3d.ai policies and procedures on the processing of your personal data when providing Services via J3d.ai’s Website.
Our rules for the processing of your personal data derive from legislation of the European Union and the Republic of Estonia, including the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation) (hereinafter the “GDPR”). The terms contained in this Privacy Policy have the same meaning as described in the J3d.ai Terms of Service and/or the GDPR.
The controller of customer data within the meaning of this Privacy Policy is J3d.ai Labs OÜ (J3d.ai), with Estonian Business Register registry code 16727690, and postal address Aru tn 19b-3, Tallinn 10318, Harju County, Estonia. The controller determines the purposes and means of processing Customer data. J3d.ai is the controller of your personal data when it provides Services to Customers and Authorized Users.
Personal data. While using the Service, we may ask the Customer to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify the Customer. Personal data within the context of the Privacy Policy means any information relating to you or to one or more factors specific to your physical, psychological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:
e-mail address;
first name and last name;
phone number.
Usage data. While using the Services, we may automatically collect usage data. Usage data may include data such as your device’s internet protocol address (IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of J3d.ai’s Website you visit, the time and date of the visit, the time spent on those pages and other diagnostic data.
Third-party social media platform data. If you create and log in to use the Services through any third-party social network website (e.g. Google or Meta), we may collect personal data that is already associated with your social media platform, such as your name, email address, and your activities or contact list associated with that account. You may also have the option of sharing additional information with J3d.ai through your social media platform account. If you choose to provide such information, during registration or otherwise, you are giving J3d.ai permission to use, share, and store it in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy.
Preferences data. While using the Services, we may collect data and information related to the Customer’s personal preferences and use of the Services, including compiling statistical and performance data related to the operation of the Services. As between J3d.ai and the Customer, all right, title, and interest in preference data, and all intellectual property therein, belong to and are retained by J3d.ai. You agree that J3d.ai may use the preference data to the extent and in the manner permitted under the applicable law.
Cookies. While using the Services and J3d.ai Website, we may use cookies or similar tracking technologies to track the activity on the Services and store specific data in order to analyze and improve the Services. Cookies are small files of letters and digits downloaded and saved on your computer or another device (for instance, mobile phone, tablet) and saved in your browser while you visit the website. They can be used to track the pages you visit on the website, save the information you enter, or remember your preferences, such as language settings, as long as you are browsing the website. Usage. J3d.ai may use your personal data for the following purposes:

to manage your Services Account and registration as an Authorized User therein;
to perform any contractual or pre-contractual obligations between you and J3d.ai, e.g., subscription contract of the Services;
to contact you by email, phone, SMS or any other form of electronic communication regarding updates on informative communications related to functionalities, products, or contracted services, including the security updates, when necessary or reasonable for their implementation;
to provide you with news, special offers and general information about other goods, services and events that we offer that are similar to those that you have already purchased or enquired about unless you have opted not to receive such information;
to manage your requests submitted to J3d.ai via J3d.ai Website or your Services Account;
to deliver targeted advertising to you; or
for other purposes, such as data analysis, identifying usage data, determining the effectiveness and performance of the Services, and evaluating and improving the Services and your experience.
Sharing and disclosure. J3d.ai may share or disclose your personal data for the following purposes:
with public authorities (e.g. courts or government agencies) if it is required to do so by applicable law or in response to valid requests by public authorities;
with any relevant party if it is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, to protect and defend the rights or property of J3d.ai, including against legal liability, or to prevent or protect the Services or personal safety of the Authorized Users;
with J3d.ai service providers to monitor and analyze the use of the Services, and/or to show advertisements to you to help support and maintain the Services;
with a business partner to offer you certain products, services or promotions, or in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of J3d.ai assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of J3d.ai business to another company; and
with your consent for any other purposes.
Retention. J3d.ai will retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain your personal data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies. J3d.ai will retain usage data for internal analysis purposes to the extent it is allowed under the applicable law.
Transfer. J3d.ai will process your personal data at J3d.ai’s operating offices and in any other place where the parties involved in the processing are located. As a general rule, your data is processed in the European Union and/or European Economic Area (EU/EEA). J3d.ai transfers personal data to countries outside the EU/EEA only in exceptional cases provided there is a legal basis for this and one of the following conditions is met:
there is an adequate level of data protection in the country outside the EU/EEA where the recipient is located, as decided by the European Commission. Please see the list of countries recognized by the European Commission so far that provide adequate protection available on the European Commission’s website.;
the controller or processor has put in place appropriate safeguards, such as adopting EU standard contractual clauses or other contractual clauses, codes of conduct or certification mechanisms. The applicable standard contractual clauses of the Treaty on European Union, which J3d.ai uses when transferring personal data to third countries, can be found here.;
there is an exception for a specific situation, such as your explicit consent, the performance of an agreement with you or the conclusion or performance of an agreement with a third party in the interest of you, the establishment or defence of legal claims, important reasons of public interest, etc.
Consent. You have given your consent for processing personal data for one or more specific purposes.
Performance of a contract. Processing personal data is necessary for the performance of an agreement between J3d.ai and you or for any pre-contractual obligations thereof.
Legal obligations. Processing personal data is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the J3d.ai is subject.
Vital interests. Processing personal data is necessary in order to protect your vital interests or those of another person.
Public interests. Processing personal data is related to a task that is carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in J3d.ai.
Legitimate interests. Processing personal data is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interest pursued by J3d.ai.
Request access and deletion of your personal data. You have the right to access, request a copy, update, or delete the data J3d.ai has on you. This may be done directly from the Services Account settings. If you are unable to perform these actions yourself, please contact us to assist you.
Request the correction of your personal data. You have the right to have any incomplete or inaccurate data about you corrected.
Object to processing of your personal data. If we are relying on legitimate interests as the legal basis for the processing of personal data, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data (e.g., direct marketing).
Request transfer of your personal data. You may request a transfer of your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. Please note that this right only applies to automated information that you initially provided consent for J3d.ai to use or where we used the information to perform a contract with you.
Withdraw your consent. You have the right to withdraw your consent to use your personal data. If you withdraw your consent, we may not be able to provide you with access to certain specific functionalities of the Services.
Exercising your rights. You may exercise your aforementioned rights by contacting us or by using the dedicated options from your Services Account, if applicable. Governing law. The legislation in force in the Republic of Estonia applies to this Privacy Policy.
Amendments. You acknowledge and agree that we have the right, in our sole discretion, to modify this Privacy Policy from time to time, and that modified terms become effective on posting. We will notify you of any changes by posting a new Privacy Policy on this page. You are responsible for reviewing and becoming familiar with any such modifications. You will be notified of new Privacy Policy becoming active also via email and/or by a notice in your Services Account.
